A series of unfortunate events

I am unadjusted. 

At age 30,

I cannot comprehend. 

I have been surviving,

progress that only meant moving forward in my activities. 

But my emotional and mental state,

has been compromised and reduced to feeling sadness and sadness only. 

Sad is default,

sadness is protection.
